THROWBACK IN THE 70S

1975: The Louzon brothers, two watch aficionados based in Paris, launch their own watchmaking brand: Yonger & Bresson.

"Yonger" was meant to symbolize youth and energy while "Bresson" is the name of the famous French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson who pioneered the genre of street photography and one of the founding members of Magnum Photos in 1947. The brand's name evokes French artistic creativity, uniqueness, quality and watchmaking savoir-faire.

Located in the emblematic Temple Street within the trendy Parisian Marais district (home of renowned designers and brands), Yonger & Bresson draws inspiration from this neighborhood's Artsy vibe, a favorite place of many artists throughout French history.

Today, Yonger & Bresson has evolved into a Swiss-French brand:

Timepieces are designed by Franck Muller design team led by Gabriele Guidi, a Swiss watch designer well-known in the luxury watchmaking world who has designed countless famous high-end collections for Longines, Tissot, Bulova and Universal Geneve, while assembling is carefully being taken care by expert watchmakers of the Ambre Group (major luxury group of French watch brands like YEMA) in the small town of Morteau located in the French Jura mountains, the cradle of French watchmaking.
